Chamber Business:  Heather’s Book Nook & Sew Much More

Something people might not know about your business:  Beside used books and sewing supplies we have greeting cards, office supplies, laser cut items, t-shirt with many options of decals.
Role/Title at the Business:  Owner.  As a self-employed owner I do it all.

Book or Podcast you would recommend:  Since I spend the majority of my time quilting I am always looking for new and interesting quilt patterns.

Career advice for a high school student:  Follow your dreams.  Trade fields are in high demand.

Favorite thing to do in the Granite Falls area:  Spending time with friends.

Chamber Business: Dave's Electric Motor Co. LLC

Dave started the business 40 years ago after working at the Electric Motor Company in Redwood for several years. He added the Bottled Water route in 1986 and the Trailer Sales several years later. We are now the largest independent Milwaukee Tools retail store in Minnesota. I am retired but on call at the shop. We have customers in 100 mile radius of Granite Falls.

I think it's important to be involved in the community. One may not always like decisions made by our leaders, but you can't complain if you don't try to help.
