Explore Minnesota Fall Getaway Contest

Upper Sioux Agency State Park  was chosen as one of Explore Minnesota's top 10 Fall Hikes ! As part of this great opportunity for our area, a contest to win a getaway package near each of the 10 chosen hikes is going on right now until October 9th. You can register to win here.

Here's the announcement from Explore Minnesota-

"The Hike MN Sweepstakes has officially begun! (8/29-10/9).  We have received 11 awesome prize packages that were donated by our wonderful industry partners and CVB’s including gift certificates for lodging, dog sled trips, dining, golf, shopping, museums, wineries, breweries and so much more!  We are also giving away 50 prize packages that include gift certificates from AmericInn, Dairy Queen and the MN State Parks as well as 2-$500 2nd Wind Exercise Equipment gift cards!" 

Thanks to Prairie's Edge Casino Resort, Granite Run Golf Course,  Granite Grinder and Gifts, From the Ground Up, Inc., Imagine Gift Shop , Capone and Company and the Granite Falls Area Chamber for donating gift certificates and prizes for the Granite Falls River Valley Getaway Package! Area visitor guides were also included in the prize package. This was a great opportunity for some really inexpensive marketing state wide for the businesses who participated. Explore Minnesota Tourism has many coop opportunities for marketing that can be used by individual businesses. Certain businesses and events can have a free listing on their website.
